The Lake Placid Center for the Arts celebrates 30 years in the Adirondacks with an innovative art exhibition. Adirondack Art Chairs: An Exhibition Trail & Auction has been on display at 38 sites throughout the North Country. This special exhibition features 38 Adirondack Chairs, each transformed by the talent of a regional artist. Supplies were generously donated by Haselton Lumber, and the chairs constructed by the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora. Each chair is sponsored by a community member or area business
.

The chairs can be seen at their 38 sites until August 28. They will be on view at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts September 4-14. The chairs will be sold by silent auction. For bidding information, or to obtain a poster of the exhibition, call the Center at the number above, or visit the Lake Placid Center for the Arts website.
