In Concert
May 23, 2013 — Josh Homme presides over a dense, textured, unpredictable sound that's equal parts mystery, intensity, beauty and bluster. Watch QOTSA perform ...Like Clockwork in its entirety, then tackle an assortment of older material, in a sold-out show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 23.
May 23, 2013 — The Swiss-German duo's sweet, honest and enchanting sound shines on its debut album, Mutual Friends.
May 23, 2013 — At the Village Vanguard, one flight down from the hubbub of New York City, in a tight space packed with people, we're about to embark on a musical odyssey by sea. Our captain is saxophonist Chris Potter, who's launching his Odyssey-inspired album The Sirens.
May 23, 2013 — The underground singer-songwriter has influenced many contemporary indie-folk and rock acts. Hear four songs from Paleface, recorded live at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, W.Va.
May 23, 2013 — Imani Winds' members play David to Igor Stravinsky's imposing Goliath, as they shrink the massive Rite of Spring down to size in a rendition for just five wind instruments. The result is an epic in miniature — and a performance perfect for a Tiny Desk.
