A jazz set by the Canton Jazz Combo

The seven-member Canton Jazz Combo visited the NCPR studio January 16, 2003. They talked with Martha Foley and recorded some fine jazz. They are raising money to finance a trip to a New York City jazz band competition later this year.

Song: Solo trumpet improvisation by Jasek Manzano

21-year-old Cuban jazz trumpeter Jasek Manzano was in the North Country on his first trip ever to the United States and stopped into the NCPR studio on February 26, 2002. He's looking to fulfill a dream of studying music at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston.  Go to full article
