Bootstrap Angle: French Boy at D-Day Ceremony

Five-year-old Alexander Poutaraud, a local French boy, got a low angle view of the D-Day ceremonies from between the polished boots of the U.S. military honor guard, as President Reagan spoke at the monument to the fallen Rangers who died trying to scale the cliffs during the D-Day invasion, Pointe du Hoc, Normandy, 6 June 1984.
