The Case of the U. S. Army v Long Hair

1st Lt. Matthew Carroll and his wife Hilda enjoyed their victory in a court martial trial at Drake Edwards base in Germany, when he was charged for refusing to cut his hair, a sign of changing times in our military. The case was dropped when Carroll offered to leave the army. 20 March 1975.
