"The greatest challenge for me is to create a visual dialogue through the interaction of the medium, form, technique, ideas and aesthetic vision. My goal is to achieve a freedom in design innovation, and to transform an assembly of fractured, cut, snipped and hammered pieces of tile into an experiment in playful pleasure, love of art/form and visceral artistry."
