Keeping the Tradition Alive

All practicing knitters participate in the continuity of knitting as a traditional activity. Some, however, serve the future of knitting by teaching others skills they have mastered, ranging from basic techniques to regional styles. This sharing can happens through classes at a local yarn shop or college, at home between relatives, or between friends at social gatherings.
