NCPR Staff Travels to Boonville (4/12/02)

North Country Public Radio is pleased to invite area residents to a reception at the Dodge-Pratt-Northam Art and Community Center, 106 Schuyler St., Boonville. NCPR staff members will be at the Center on Thursday, May 2 from 4:00 till 6:00 pm to meet with people and share ideas on how public radio can best serve the community. The event is being hosted by members of the Pratt-Northam Foundation Board and The Congregation of the Presbyterian Church. Refreshments will be served.

"We are looking forward to meeting as many people as we can in this new service area. We hope folks will take the opportunity to stop by, have a bite to eat, meet the staff, and learn about the station," said Membership Director Kathleen Fitzgerald.

NCPR recently expanded its broadcast signal to include the greater Boonville area at 91.7 fm and Lyons Falls at 89.1 fm, through a generous grant from the Pratt-Northam Foundation.
