Music of North Country composer Robert Washburn to be Featured on NCPR (2/10/05)

The music of North Country composer Robert Washburn will be featured in a special program that will air on North Country Public Radio Monday, February 21 at 7:00 pm. Dean and Professor Emeritus of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, Washburn composed music for the opening ceremonies of the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. He has received numerous awards, and his music has been performed around the region and world, including at the White House.

The live one-hour program, hosted by North Country Public Radio's Arts Producer and host Todd Moe, will include conversation with Washburn, music, and calls from listeners.
