On June 5, Brian Mann reported that the Adirondack Local Government Review Board declined to intervene in a legal case involving the Adirondack Park Agency and Essex County farmer Sandy Lewis.

The Local Government Review Board has since clarified its position: while the board has decided not to intervene in the lawsuit, the organization does generally support Mr. Lewis's arguments in the case. According to executive director Fred Monroe, the group sent a letter to former Governor Eliot Spitzer expressing its support.
