Bill Vitek (left) and Dan Gagliardi
In a few weeks when college professors return from their summer break, they’ll probably share stories of the places they traveled, family reunions or how well their garden grew...typical summer stuff. But two North Country professors will have a new CD and a full summer of performances to talk about. Bill Vitek teaches philosophy at Clarkson University in Potsdam and Dan Gagliardi teaches mathematics at St. Lawrence University in Canton. Their new CD of jazz standards, A Fine Line, has just been released. They stopped by the studio a few days ago to talk about the new disc and the music they love, and began by talking about the title of the CD.
