Apr 16, 2012 — Officials in the Tri-Lakes area want the state to build lanes for bicycles when state Route 86 is repaved this spring between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake.
The 8-mile stretch of the highway is one of the most heavily traveled roads in the North Country.
It's also popular among cyclists, both athletes and commuters.

NY State government gets into used car business
Albany, NY, Apr 16, 2012 — Governor Cuomo's administration is conducting the largest ever on line and in person auction of over 450 used cars and trucks as part of what they call a fleet reduction, to try to save money and cut down on government excess.
