Music Fills the Hills: The Seagle Music Colony

For nearly 90 years, the Seagle Music Colony in the eastern Adirondacks has offered talented young singers a secluded summer haven to polish their skills. The seven-week music camp offers intensive training with music theater professionals and opportunities to appear in six Broadway-type productions, from Gershwin to Mozart. For decades, most of the Seagle Colony's shows have been presented in a simple barn theatre tucked away in the wooded hills above Schroon Lake. Preview: Downing College Choir in Blue Mountain Lake

The Downing College Chapel Choir of Cambridge University presents a concert tonight at the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Blue Mountain Lake. This is the choir's third visit to the Adirondacks. The group performed a series of concerts in Manhattan last week, and will visit Vermont later this week.
