A Talk With Residents Committee Director, Peter Bauer

A pro-environment group is suing New York state to stop 4-wheeler traffic on more than fifty roads in the western Adirondack Park. The Residents Committee to Protect the Adirondacks filed the suit on Monday. It would curtail ATV riding on state land in Lewis, Herkimer, Jefferson, and Hamilton Counties. Suit Would Close 4-wheeler roads in Adirondack Park

A pro-environment group is suing New York state over dozens of roads in the western Adirondacks that have been opened to 4-wheeled all terrain vehicles. Adk Folk Song Included in New Textbook

A folk song by Adirondack balladeer Dan Berggren will be included in a new Social Studies primer for fourth graders in New York. Here's to You, which is a musical tribute to the people of the mountains, was composed in 1992 to commemorate the centennial of the Adirondack Park.
