Over on his blog, Andrew Sullivan is curating a collection of depressing Christmas songs. Today, he introduces a version of "After the Holidays," by Judy Garland, which she sang on The Tonight Show. The video quality is poor, but you'll get the gist.

Sullivan and his assistants have chronicled plenty more: "Calling on Mary," by Aimee Mann; "Christmas in Prison," by John Prine; and Dwight Yoakam's "Santa Can't Stay" — to name just a few.
