N.Y. Tabloids (But Not The Times) Have Paterson Rumors On Cover

Feb 9, 2010 — Different approaches taken by the three leading New York City newspapers to an alleged scandal -- certainly rumors -- involving Gov. David Paterson.

While the New York political world remains agog over the latest (sigh) rumors about Gov. David Paterson (D) — awaiting what the New York Times has in store for the embattled governor — it's worth pointing out that the Times had nary a word about it in today's paper.

That didn't keep the city's two tabloids, the Daily News and the Post, from using their front pages to keep the story alive. Even if there isn't a story.
