To mark the occasion, Life.com today released more than thirty previously unpublished photos of the campaign.Today marks fifty years since John F. Kennedy was elected president, in a remarkably close race against Richard Nixon. In honor of the occasion, Life.com has posted more than 30 previously unpublished photos of Kennedy during the campaign — at rallies, and during more thoughtful moments.
