Wal-Mart Offers Free Holiday Shipping
Nov 11, 2010 — Wal-Mart offers free holiday shippingThe discount retailer is taking on competitors such as Amazon and JCPenney with the deal. Some 60,000 products can be shipped to your house for free and there's no minimum purchase. The offer lasts until Dec. 20. In a press release, Wal-Mart executive Steve Nave described the offer as an early Christmas present. The AP adds items bought online will be delivered via standard shipping within three to five days; you can return them for free or drop them off at a local Wal-Mart store. The New York Times points out other retailers offering good shipping deals.
