No arrests were made, but Los Angeles police did bring Ted Williams in for questioning Monday night after he got into a loud argument with his adult daughter at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa, the Associated Press reports.

"It was minor. Both parties were angry, but there were no signs of visible abuse," officer Catherine Massey told the wire service. "They were brought in, calmed down, talked to and released."

Williams, 53, is the man who last week rocketed from living on the streets in Columbus, Ohio, to appearances on network TV and job offers from around the country after his deep, radio-friendly voice was heard on a Columbus Dispatch video that went viral.

He's been very open about his past history of drug abuse and his hope that going forward he'll be able to stay clean and turn his life around.
