'10 Things Your Boss Won't Tell You'

Jan 17, 2011 — Your boss won't tell you that you're too old for the job or that they don't promote based on performance. SmartMoney got managers to talk about the ten things that they just won't tell their employees.

Another tip, though not necessarily new, is that many companies read your emails and IMs. Wedbush Securities, the firm mentioned in the article, collects all of its employees messages and web traffic and reads 5-10% of it on any given day.
