Jon Stewart and his Daily Show joke writers turned their wicked senses of humor on President Obama's Libya speech and found it fertile territory.

A sample: "We all thought we went in because the Libyans asked for our help by flipping on the Hope Signal. But now it seems there was another reason which, much to his chagrin, the president had to go on TV and talk about..."

Stewart then runs through the president's series of explanations and turns Obama's awkward rhetorical linkage in the speech of Benghazi and Charlotte, N.C. into a punchline.

Meanwhile, for those wondering what NATO has in common with a certain pop superstar, Stewart has an answer.
