Romney Ad Accuses Obama Of Eroding Welfare Law

Aug 8, 2012 (Morning Edition) — Mitt Romney's GOP presidential campaign this week released a TV ad accusing President Obama of gutting President Clinton's 1996 welfare overhaul. Romney alleges a recent administration memo ends the law's work requirement. The White House and the Obama campaign fired back, calling the ad dishonest.
