Thieves Steal Millions In Canadian Maple Syrup

Oct 4, 2012 (Morning Edition) — Canadian police say they've seized 16 truckloads of maple syrup in the province of New Brunswick. That's only a fraction of the amount believed to have been siphoned from the reserves of a producers federation in neighboring Quebec. The stolen syrup is worth about $20 million.
