Jobless Rate Drops In First Post-Election Report

Dec 7, 2012 (Morning Edition) — The Labor Department reported Friday that the nation's unemployment rate fell to 7.7 percent in November as employers added 146,000 jobs. In October, the jobless rate was 7.9 percent. Analysts had predicted weaker numbers for November, partly because of the storm's aftermath.
