With Current TV Purchase, Al-Jazeera Buys Opportunity For New Viewers

Jan 4, 2013 (All Things Considered) — Current TV, despite having one of the most paltry audiences in American cable, was recently sold to Al-Jazeera for $500 million. Robert Siegel speaks with Brian Stelter, media reporter for The New York Times, about what Al-Jazeera gets in the deal.
