Tensions Simmer In Himalayan Region Of Kashmir

Jan 11, 2013 (Morning Edition) — Another soldier has died on the disputed border between India and Pakistan, the so-called "line of control" in Kashmir. At least four soldiers have died in a series of shooting and infiltration incidents that began last Sunday. The region has been a flashpoint between the two countries since they gained independence in 1947.
