Feb 1, 2013 (All Things Considered) — Employers added 157,000 jobs to payrolls in January, but the unemployment rate ticked up a notch anyway, to 7.9 percent. The monthly jobs report from the Labor Department also said job growth was much better in November and December than originally reported.
