Republicans Push To Rebrand Automatic Spending Cuts As Deadline Nears

Feb 11, 2013 (All Things Considered) — With the deadline approaching for automatic spending cuts, Republicans in Congress are pushing hard to rebrand the cuts that were agreed to as part of the debt-ceiling agreement of 2011. The sequester is now the president's sequester, according to congressional Republicans.
