Missoni Patriarch Dies At 92

May 10, 2013 (Morning Edition) — Before he was a fashion mogul, Ottavio Missoni ran track in the 1948 Olympics. That's where he met his wife, whose family owned a textile mill in northern Italy. The Missoni brand grew to prominence in the late 60s with laid-back knit wear covered in rainbow, zigzag patterns.
