Boeing's Dreamliner Returns To U.S. Skies After Grounding

May 20, 2013 (All Things Considered) — Boeing's Dreamliner 787 has made its first U.S. flight since being grounded back in January after problems with its batteries. Boeing has redesigned the battery and put it in a fire-proof box. The midday United Airlines flight flew from Houston to Chicago.
