Amelia Earhart Legacy, Enduring Mystery

Jun 16, 2013 (All Things Considered) — On June 17, 1928, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean in an airplane. Earhart enthusiast and pilot Ann Pellegreno, who successfully duplicated Earhart's around-the-world flight plan in 1967, offers her insight.
