Japan Plans Ice Wall To Surround Damaged Nuclear Plant

Sep 3, 2013 (All Things Considered) — The Japanese government announced Tuesday that it intends to build an underground wall of ice around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. The wall could stop radioactive water from leaking out of the plant, if it can work.
