Report Estimates 30 Million People In Slavery Worldwide

Oct 17, 2013 (All Things Considered) — Audie Cornish talks to Kevin Bales, a professor of contemporary slavery at the University of Hull and lead author of the 2013 Global Slavery Index. The first-time report by the Walk Free Foundation estimates that there are nearly 30 million people in slavery across the globe.
