New Education Standards Widen Achievement Gap For English Learners?

Jan 8, 2014 (Tell Me More) — New national education standards, known as Common Core, aim to set baseline knowledge for English and math. But some people say the standards will increase achievement gaps between English learners and native English speakers. Host Michel Martin learns more from journalist Pat Wingert.
