Allegra Goodman's latest novel is Intuition. Book critic Maureen Corrigan says it's one of those novels that can make a reader excited about the art of the fiction.

Goodman's short stories have appeared in The New Yorker and Slate. She is also the author of best-selling novels and short story collections such as Kaaterskill Falls and The Family Markowitz.
