Books for the Young... and the Young at Heart

Temperatures are rising, the humidity is climbing and folks are trying to decide what to read this summer. Continuing a seasonal tradition, Weekend Edition Sunday offers a weekly look at what notable readers are pulling off their shelves.

First up is Elizabeth Bird, senior librarian at The New York Public Library's Donnell Library Center. She's particularly interested in children's books, and novels aimed at young adults.
