Andre, III Dubus
Mar 1, 2011 — The author of House of Sand and Fog, Andre Dubus III grew up in poverty with his mother and tried desperately to develop a relationship with his father, a college professor and short-story writer. The tension between the two worlds brought about a violent side, which he explores in his new memoir, Townie.
