Clayton Opera House Celebrates Centennial

A celebration surrounding the historic Clayton Opera House takes place this weekend. It's the centennial of the Opera House, at one time the largest stage in Jefferson county. Music Fills the Hills: The Seagle Music Colony

For nearly 90 years, the Seagle Music Colony in the eastern Adirondacks has offered talented young singers a secluded summer haven to polish their skills. The seven-week music camp offers intensive training with music theater professionals and opportunities to appear in six Broadway-type productions, from Gershwin to Mozart. For decades, most of the Seagle Colony's shows have been presented in a simple barn theatre tucked away in the wooded hills above Schroon Lake.
