Keeping the Beat: Long Rapids Fife and Drum Corps Revives Early Military Music

Communities across the region are putting on their best show of the year to celebrate Independence Day. There are picnics, parades, reunions and the perenial fireworks displays at dusk. One of the units marching in today's Fourth of July parade in Norwood is the Long Rapids Fife and Drum Corps, which is dedicated to preserving the history of military music from the 18th and 19th centuries.
