Preview: Guys on Ice

The Adirondack Theatre Festival in Glens Falls kicks off its 8th season with a musical comedy about life, love and ice-fishing. Set in an ice shanty on a frozen northern Wisconsin lake, Guys On Ice tells the story of long-time pals Lloyd and Marvin who keep warm with a mutual appreciation for good bait, conversation about life and tales of the one that got away. Rockin' at the Green

High school musicians usually get a chance to perform for an audience at school jazz band or orchestra concerts. But aside from parties and the occasional high school dance, there are few opportunities for young rock musicians to test their licks in public. For 7 years now, the Norwood Village Green concert series has provided an outlet for high school bands to rock out.
