StoryCorps: Life in Nazi Germany

Inside soundproof booths across the country, friends and loved ones are interviewing each other about their lives. The booths belong to StoryCorps, a project that collects the stories of everyday people in order to create an oral history of America. One of these mobile recording studios was in Canton last summer and among its visitors were Eleanor Rosenthal and her friend M.J. Heisey. Rosenthal lived in Nazi Germany as a child. Her father spent weeks in a concentration camp, and her family eventually immigrated to the U.S.  Go to full article
