Dems challenge GOP in St. Lawrence County
Aug 09, 2006 — Road repair and paying for a new jail figure to be the hot topics in St. Lawrence County this fall. All 15 county legislative seats are up for re-election. Republicans currently hold a three-seat advantage. But four Republicans and one Democrat are stepping down, leaving five open races. GOP leaders say they've made the case for another four years in the majority.
