Plattsburgh women cap champ season, St. Lawrence Saints fall short

This weekend was the best of times and the worst of times for North Country hockey fans. The men's Saint's lost four goals to zero in an upset loss to Quinnippiac at the ECAC tournament in Albany. They went on to beat Darmouth for third place. The women's Saints also lost four goals to zero, facing the Wisconsin Badgers in the semifinals at the Frozen Four tournament in Lake Placid. That defeat that eliminated them from the tournament. As Brian Mann reports, the powerhouse Wisconsin team went on to claim the national championship for a second year in a row.  Go to full article
