Hill and Hollow Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Hill and Hollow Music Series, based in Saranac, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The theme this year is "Northern Lights". Over a dozen musical "luminaries" who were born or raised in the North Country will come back to the area this year. The season kicks off Sunday afternoon in Plattsburgh with a Rossini Opera Gala, featuring Plattsburgh native Rockwell Blake and the Orchestra of Northern New York. APA Studies Scenic Impact of Proposed Subdivision

A developer hopes to build an eight-home subdivision on the outskirts of Lake Placid. The land sits on the edge of a wilderness area and straddles part of the popular Jackrabbit Ski Trail. Spruce Mountain Trail Protected
