Theatre Review: "Tempting Providence" at the 1000 Islands Playhouse
Gananoque, ON, Oct 16, 2012 — "Tempting Providence" tells the story of a remarkable nurse, Myra Bennett. She spent her life caring for the population of the bleak Newfoundland coast. By the time she died in 1990 she had received medals of honor from both the Queen and the Canadian government. The production runs through October 27 at the 1000 Islands Playhouse in Gananoque. Theatre Review: "The Secret Mask" at the Great Canadian Theatre Company
Ottawa, ON, Sep 17, 2012 — The Secret Mask has opened the season at the Great Canadian Theatre Company in Ottawa and runs through September 30. The play tells the story of George who gets a call out of the blue to come help his father Ernie who is recovering from a stroke and aphasia.
