Widely published in magazines and reviews, he is also the editor of the journal Literary Imagination, published by Oxford University Press. Canton, NY, Sep 15, 2010 — Opening the 2010-11 season of Readers & Writers, our guest is George Saunders, author of several collections of short fiction as well as his acclaimed The Braindead Megaphone, a collection of essays and observations about 21st century America. Witty and surprising, Saunders is the recipient of both a MacArthur Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Canton, NY, Mar 17, 2010 — Our guest was poet Christian Bok, author of Crystallography and Eunoia. Bok explores the structure and science of language in his work. The first of these titles was originally published in the mid-90s and recently re-released after years of being unavailable. The second came out in 1992 and won the Griffin Prize for Poetic Excellence. Chris Robinson and Theo Hummer host.
