Adirondack real estate prices have soared in recent years, thanks to a boom in vacation homes. Small lake front parcels sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars. But along Great Sacandaga Lake, in the southern Adirondacks, people can lease 100-foot sections of shoreline property from the state for just $56/yr. The controversial program faces a Niagara Mohawk lawsuit and a Comptroller's Office audit. Brian Mann reports.
