Sep 18, 2007 — Maritime history and shipwreck have been two major themes this year in a series of lectures presented by Seway Trail in Sackets Harbor. A presentation this Thursday afternoon at Jefferson Community College in Watertown will focus on lore of the Great Lakes, particularly tales about haunted shipwrecks. Todd Moe talks with Great Lakes historian, author and teacher Frederick Stonehouse who has written more than 30 books on maritime history.
