Sep 26, 2007 — As we reported yesterday, low water levels and a shortage of rain have brought drought conditions to the region. There are showers in the forecast for the next few days, but fire officials are still concerned about dry conditions. yesterday, three small wild fires were burning in the Adirondack backcountry.
