Building a compost bin naturally

The bird's nest bin, also known as the binless bin, is a naturally constructed compost bin made from organic materials found around the yard. Horticulturist Amy Ivy tells Martha Foley that big stalky stuff, like broccoli, prunings from bushes, and sunflower stalks make up the walls with finer materials in the center.
